Can't tell you all how much I've enjoyed photographing Melanie's and Tommy's wedding day. Much of it was due to logistics logistics logistics; we spent many hours coordinating every single last minute of the day prior to the big event and the entire day went without a hitch, though two people did get hitched (ha!)
The good thing about taking forever to post photos is that all the wonderful memories from that day come rushing back even months later. The smiles, the family pride, and the happiness filling up the entire house as everyone was getting ready at the house, the non-stop dancing and the dance-off to Outkast during the ceremony. It doesn't stop there but continues with the big sister channeling the recently deceased family cat to make a toast (I promise you, it was hilarious), as well as heart warming bride and groom dance as Michael's sister enchanted the room with her amazing voice.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I did revisiting them.
Brittney & Kevin are awesome!
And it's no surprise that they're surrounded by awesome people. I was fortunate enough to be a second shooter at their wedding at Bryant Park Grill. I've worked with them previously during their engagement party where we set up a photobooth. They loved the idea and decided to do it again for their friends and family at their wedding. I set up a photobooth, they brought in some hilarious signs, and we let the good times role.
Camera on a tripod with a 28-70mm lens to be able to adjust zoom for large groups. SB600 in a 24x24 soft box on camera right for main light and another flash was bounced off the ceiling high camera left for fill.
