I really wanted to share and bring a bit more attention to this one particular shot before I post the rest of the photos online. This playful & joyous moment really stopped me in my editing processing when I first saw it. What I really dig about this shot are the two friends in the frame who really give the main subject(s) the feeling of being completely in their own world, having a great time flying through the air together.
There's a certain magic that happens when two people are completely comfortable being themselves with each other, friends, family, and in front of the camera. That's exactly the magic Teresa & Kirill share. Throughout a whirlwind fifteen hour day which started in Queens, followed by the wedding at Long Island's Planting Fields, and finishing the night off in downtown Brooklyn's Orange Grill, they kept a fun, positive, and playful attitude that kept the energy at 11. A nod to Reservoir Dogs by Kirill and his groomsmen also had me psyched months before the big day and really looking forward to getting the opening credits shot.
I've also shot an engagement session with them in Coney Island that I have posted here
